Pranayama Meditation

 

The product capabilities available in the Handstand Quest app go beyond working out for just handstands. In the interest to see what other types of workouts our users like, and to have more content, we’ve introduced a new experimental “workout” titled “Pranayama Meditation”.

It’s mainly composed of two Pranayama breathing techniques, followed by meditation.

That’s two out of the eight limbs of yoga:

  1. Yyama (ethical standards)

  2. Niyama (self-discipline)

  3. Asana (physical postures)

  4. Pranayama (breathing)

  5. Pratyahara (sensory transcendence)

  6. Dharana (concentration)

  7. Dhyana (meditation)

  8. Samadhi (enlightenment)

The two Pranayama breathing techniques used are “Breaths of Fire” and “Alternating Nostril breathing”.
