Introducing Prilepin Workouts
Prilepin charts help in structuring how many sets and reps (or how much time to hold) to do a certain exercise, based on intensity or level of effort.
As I was trying this method on Crow Pose, I noticed a few times I went back to find the table to manually look up what my hold times should look like. It's not easy (at least for me) to memorize a table, so I ended up building that capability into the app.
There’s now a section in the Workouts tab that lets you add exercises you want to do in Prilepin mode. When you open an exercise in Prilepin mode, you are asked to do a “Max Effort” on it. Once you do that, a workout will be generated for you, focused on the specific exercise, so you can keep getting challenged to grow your strength without injury or tiring too quickly.
